Content Reactor (CR) was created and is maintained by two guys - designer and senior programmer - completely in spare time. The whole thing is that we almost have no spare time :) This is what makes things roll that slow.

In the mean time we have nearly finished CR v.2. which is Joomla 1.7.x native as well as backwards compatible with Joomla! 1.5.x. This version includes many features requested by Joomla! community, such as:

• flexible linking of image area, text area or both areas to desired content, using article manager or to any external source
• feeding image area with custom slides, with images from selected folder or with remote images
• feeding text area with articles from desired category or selected article
• two types of slide navigation controls - pager and / or "rew", "ffwd", "pause" and "play" buttons.
• full control over CR's "look and feel" using flexible and powerful custom styling options to fulfill almost every crazy creative idea - directly from CR's manager. Designers are going to love it :)
• GUI option to compose CR output layout by dragging and scaling corresponding parts. Experienced users may input exact values or perform fine-tuning manually

Features we are developing now are parallax effect in conjunction with jquery supersized plugin - just imagine how cool it will be!
